A Lifetime of Service

School on Wheels' founder Sister Marybeth McDermott, was recognized in 2009 for her lifetime service to literacy.

She served as director from 1993 to 2008. In 2009,
School on Wheels established the annual Sr. Marybeth McDermott Citizenship Scholarship in her honor.
